Verse (Roman transliteration)
Rathyaa Chapara Vibhushita Vesho,

Maanas Sanaatana Paaravaare,
Paribhramati Kila Taraanga Bhaare
Translation
Clothed in rags or adorned in finery, the Lord's message stirs the heart. The mind wanders on the timeless ocean, amid the weight of waves.
The teaching
Whether a person is dressed in a beggar's rags or royal finery, the call of the divine touches all equally. The external condition is irrelevant to inner receptivity. But the mind, like a boat on a vast ocean, is constantly tossed by waves of thought and emotion — and so even when the call comes, it is often drowned out.
Living this today
Illustrative example: Leave a short gap between your last task and the evening. Write down one question you have avoided in the rush. You do not need an immediate answer to begin giving it attention.
